(Corey Potter's second modern self portrait.) I chose to keep my composition simple in order to further show the detail of my hair falling to the side. The hair is the most important element of the photograph because it furthers my concept of a girl begining a new stage in life. Many days I feel overwhelmed and thrown around. This image shows me in a state of flux, but I am still keeping my gaze forward. This displays my concentration and desire to push through the challenges I am facing in life as I step into the adult world.
