De stadsmuren van de stad Alcudia.
De historische binnenstad, gelegen tussen de baaien van Alcúdia en Pollença, wordt nog voor een belangrijk deel omsloten door stadsmuren van middeleeuwse oorsprong. De parochiekerk San Jaime is als hoekpilaar bij de vesting aangetrokken. Van deze vesting vormen ook de beide stadspoorten een deel. Ze zijn opgetrokken uit geel zandsteen. De belangrijkste en mooiste toegang wordt gevormd door de Porta de Moll. Met twee vestingtorens.
De lucht is dreigend, net voor een onweersstorm. De palmbomen en de muur lijken uit een andere wereld te komen.

The ramparts of the town of Alcudia.
The historic center, situated between the bays of Alcudia and Pollensa, is still largely enclosed by walls of medieval origin. The parish church of San Jaime is as a corner pillar attracted to the fortress. From this fortress also constitute the two city gates part. They are built of yellow sandstone. The most important and beautiful entrance is formed by the Porta de Moll. With two fortified towers.
The sky is threatening, just before a thunderstorm. The palm trees and the walls seem to come from another world.
