Kunstenaar Herman Coppus plaatst met zijn Maasbaken een markering in het landschap. In een metaalconstructie zit glas verwerkt met kleuren die ontleend zijn aan het gebied rondom de Maas.
De tweede editie van Kunst aan de Maas. Langs de omgeving van de Maas staan 12 opvallende tijdelijke kunstwerken. De kunstwerken zijn een vorm van ‘landkunst’ en zijn geïnspireerd op het landschap en de historie van het gebied.

Artist Herman Coppus puts his Maas Beacon a mark on the landscape. In a metal construction glass is incorporated with colors borrowed from the area around the river.
The second edition of Art on the Meuse. Along the environment of the Meuse are 12 striking temporary artworks. The artworks are a form of 'land art' and are inspired by the landscape and history of the area.
