In natuurgebied de Blauwe Kamer heeft het water van de Nederrijn vrij spel. De zomerdijk is in 1992 afgegraven, zodat het gebied regelmatig overstroomt. De natuur in de Blauwe Kamer is dankzij de overstromingen voortdurend in beweging en ontwikkeling.
De Capitool-wandeling 'Blauwe Kamer en Grebbeberg' is een schitterende wandeling langs beide zijden van de Nederrijn

Half wild galloways roam freely in herds. Galloway cattle are cow. The nature in the Blauwe Kamer is under the influence of the waters of the Lower Rhine. The summer dike was dug up in 1992, so the area floods frequently. Nature in the Blauwe Kamer is due to the floods in constant movement and development.
The Capitol-walk 'Blue Room and Grebbeberg' is a beautiful walk along both sides of the Lower Rhine http://www.gps-route.org/showRoute.php?language=nl&route=109
