San Zaccaria
Cappella d'Oro of de San Tarasio kapel
Altaarstuk van Antonio Vivarini en Giovanni d`Alemagna 1443.
Achterzijde van de polyptiek van de Maagd Maria.
Het is een reliekenkast aan de achterzijde van het grote Vivarini veelluik. Oorspronkelijk heeft hier ook het lichaam van de heilige Zacharias in gelegen.
Bovenste rij vlnr: Stefanus*, Thomas, Gregorius, Zacharias*, Teodorus, Leo en Sabina*. Helaas ontbreekt de bovenste voorstelling van Christus als Man van Smarten.
Onderste rij: Petrus, Claudius, Tarasius, Nereus, Achilleus en Pancratius,
uiterst links en rechts geflankeerd door biddende engelen
gerestaureerd met hulp van Stichting Nederlands Venetie Comité in 2010

Back of the polyptych of the Virgin Mary.
It is a relics cabinet to the back side of the large Vivarini much hatch. Originally also the body of the saint Zacharias in located here.
Top row left to right: Stephen *, Thomas Gregory, Zacharias * Teodorus, Leo and Sabina *. Sadly lacking the upper representation of Christ as the Man of Sorrows.
Bottom row: Peter, Claudius, Tarasius, Nereus, Achilleus and Pancras,
extreme left and right flanked by praying angels
restored with the help of Dutch Foundation Venice Committee in 2010
